Regardless of what your plan is, you will want to ensure that your IT systems are up and running and your data and applications are accessible. Your business continuity plan will dictate how most other issues are handled. Disaster recovery is all about getting back going after any type of interruption, so while the scale of your normal disaster may not reach the level of the past two months, you will have a recovery strategy in place when the heat is on.
